The Texas Ranger Classic is a series of annual fundraising events benefiting the Texas Ranger Association Foundation and the Texas Rangers. The sporting clay tournaments are open to all firearms enthusiasts looking to have a fun, competitive day of sporting clay excitement. The tournaments vary in format, specialty games, and sponsorship opportunities.
The Texas Ranger Association Foundation (TRAF) supports active and retired Texas Rangers and immediate family members through scholarships, financial assistance, and operational support in service to the citizens of Texas. TRAF works to preserve and perpetuate the history and heritage of the Texas Rangers through public education and by supporting the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum. TRAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Visit www.TRAF.org to learn more.
Making a Difference
Since its inception, TRAF has awarded over 1,500 scholarships to children of active Texas Rangers totaling over $2.4 million.*
Since 1981, each June the Texas Ranger Association Foundation sponsors a reunion to honor and recognize retired Texas Rangers and their families.
Since 2001, TRAF has supported the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, in Waco, Texas with exhibitions and education initiatives.
Since 2005 TRAF has given over $510,000* to Texas Rangers for emergency relief and assistance – a major part of our mission.
In May of 2011 former companies "F" an "D" were merged into Company "F" — Company "G" became new Company "D." The restructured Company "F" begins in the north in Hill County (south of Dallas-Fort Worth) and ends in Frio and Atascosa Counties (south of San Antonio). On the East it extends from Freestone County (Fairfield) to Kerr County (Kerrville) in the West.
The area is as diverse as the landscape — from traditional farming and ranching to high tech development and international trade. The dedicated criminal investigators of Company "F" take great pride in the Texas Ranger heritage one that extends through three centuries.
